Yes — the generated HTML is passed through DOMPurify, a widely used sanitization library, before being displayed, which strips scripts and other dangerous markup even if your Markdown contains raw HTML.

"Copy Markdown" copies your raw source text as-is. "Copy HTML" copies the sanitized HTML generated from it — useful when pasting into a CMS or email client that expects HTML rather than Markdown.
